to help you find a way through. Our work and the relationship we build together, will bring clarity, steadiness, peace and happiness.
Therapeutic Approach
I have been working with well-being modalities for more than 30 years. I am a fully qualified counsellor, and have a PhD in the field of trauma-informed care, an MSc in Mindfulness Based Approaches, and I taught yoga for more than 25 years.
When working with you, we will choose together how best to approach the issues you are facing.
You may want us to use a person-centred talking approach. And other times learn to use stabilisation strategies and techniques.
We can integrate psychological therapies with embodied physical practices to best facilitate your journey to health and healing.
Therapy can help with many issues such as your feelings as a result of unwanted events like abandonment, bereavement, accidents, illness or relationship difficulties of all sorts.
Some of us have difficult feelings that seem to emerge for no apparent reason.
I work with all manner of issues and feelings including trauma, depression, anxiety, overwhelm, suicidal thoughts, panic attacks, phobias and self harm.
